I bought 2 of these - one black and one silver - I have a double oven I use both when baking almost all the time, having 2 timers is very useful. hard of hearing, need a tactile or visual alert - these timers have both. I can't comment on the volume of the buzzer - while I'm not totally deaf, it's a noise I don't typically hear regardless of the volume. I can clip these timers to my apron, shirt, jean pocket and feel the vibration. There is a small wire that goes down and turns the clip into a stand, when the timer goes off the red light will flash and the vibration will make the timer dance which gets my attention unless the light does. In general I am very satisfied.
