Keeps drinks ice cold after hours of hiking

Big fan of this pack. I've used it on two day hikes and two backyard BBQs shortly after purchase and have been pleased with its performance each time. If I could change any aspect of its design, I would add a zippered top for the main compartment (in case it tips over) and thicker vent pads on the back to increase the distance between the pack and the user's back and reduce sweating. (I've done some real hikes with it). As is, the top fits snugly in the pocket but doesn't close. However, a few scoops of ice will definitely keep your wine or beer icy even after a few hours of hiking. The included cutting board and tools are nice to the touch; There are a couple of external pockets for quick access to a water bottle. and the top flap is a zippered pocket for napkins, extra utensils, an extra t-shirt, etc. It fits two bottles of wine and leaves room for probably another 3-4 12oz cans/bottles. There is a removable divider that closes/opens with Velcro to create two spaces in the main compartment if you only want to store ice on one side. Take it out and maybe adjust a little more. The lower compartment offers space for a few small Tupperware or zippered bags. I've never tried to keep things warm and cold at the same time.
