Not too excited about finishing this one. There's nothing holding it closed other than two open-ended plastic pieces. If the backpack is tipped too far to one side or the other and there is something in the pocket on the flap, it can loosen and loosen, and the contents suddenly spill out. It may keep you cold for hours, but the utility I was looking for just isn't there.

I was hesitant to buy this because the price was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but I'm absolutely sure I made the right decision! This bag is wonderful! I bought this to store my son's formula/meal as well as a 'double' diaper bag for our trip (by plane). It exceeded my expectations so much! My husband and I will definitely use this when we go hiking and on day trips! Very good quality and great purchase! Oh, and the "bonus" cutting board and little knives are great!

While not a serious hiking backpack, it's a really good beach daypack for a couple. In one sleeve I put a cold bottle of wine with an ice pack, two tall, narrow bottles of Smart cold water (bought for the shape, not the ingredients) in the other sleeve, and a couple of flexible ice packs, crackers wrapped along with the wine by you place a bucket of hummus, a block of cheese, and a small container of olives on the bottom shelf with two small ice packs. This was a gift for my father who was looking for a large fridge to work with. I loved that it came with utensils and a cutting board. Nice bonus! At least, that's what I thought. Big fan of this pack. I've used it on two day hikes and two backyard BBQs shortly after purchase and have been pleased with its performance each time. If I could change any aspect of its design, I would add a zippered top for the main compartment (in case it tips over) and thicker vent pads on the back to increase the distance between the pack and the user's back and reduce sweating.
