I use them for oriental style food and turtle tanks lol. They're good for both of you! They hold water and withstand the box turtle banging against the sides (she likes to scratch the shell against the sides/rim of the pot). I've used them to bake real lasagna and they held up this monster lasagna with no problem. Durability is great but yes they are a bit brittle due to their nature. Best of all, if you can get all the food out of them, you can reuse or recycle them. Great for $10! I love supporting small businesses.
