This set offers a lot for those who want a complete tool kit. However, only part of this kit can be used or has been used. Pros: I've used pony stitching a few times and it's great, just add some leather to reduce potential surface damage. The cutting mat and the punching surfaces are also fine. The sledgehammer is solid and the skinning knife is pretty sharp. Scissors will do and a square ruler will do, but non-slip tape will be needed and if you cut you can trim off some of the paint. Bar irons are ok, hard to come by. The thread has been fine for the projects I've used them on. The Bad: The awl is almost useless, it's just not sharp. The punches are blunt and couldn't cut through the 2oz double layer tip holes for the project I was working on. Also, the stamps aren't as precise as the others I've used. I didn't use buttons or rivets and the overall set of pins in this set is good. General. You will work. but mine is better. Everything else was either not specifically mentioned or made sense.
