This is an electric lighter that is powered by a USB cable. It takes about an hour to charge and lasts for several days. It usually charges within a minute if you can't wait for it to charge to 100%. The current flows (or bends) at the two small tips, like a miniature stun gun - the molecules are excited and ignited. Looks like a mini plasma gun. The great thing about this lighter is that you won't burn your hands. You can light quite a few candles and not have to worry about handling ash or burning your finger with a butane lighter. I don't smoke cigarettes but my friend bought a similar lighter and he likes it for that purpose - he can just charge in his car and drive to work. I'm not sure how it works when illuminating large objects. I see a lot of people smoking the tip of a cigar - I think it's possible. But does that matter at the price? My photos don't capture the lighter very well, but it's cool looking technology - just don't electrocute yourself!
