Not as good as what it replaced

I bought these to replace a set of 4 AT&T cordless phones. The old phones were tired, speakers didn't work on 2, buttons were hard to press (crumbled?) on some, but they had talking caller ID. I didn't realize how dependent we are on it until one or two of us had to go to a new phone to read the screen. You no longer have to lie in bed and hear who is calling and decide whether or not to answer. Not a good reason to return but certainly not worthy of a 5 star rating. So I connected 2 old phones to Talking Caller ID. solves the problem.
