I had my doubts that this filter would give a performance boost and all I really wanted was a filter that I could clean myself and get rid of the sticky sponge in my KLR650 (2009). I'm not sure if the results will be the same on every bike they fit, but on my Kawasaki it was immediately noticeable. At 60mph I don't feel as much vibration from the engine and it's obvious that less gas is needed to get the power needed to move. My mileage went up almost 5mpg (full disclosure. I also changed the spark plug to NGK. That might have helped too). I look forward to my life with this filter.
