Hard dimple in filter housing and flanges are difficult to hold in place but otherwise a straight fit and good quality part.

It needs cleaning twice as often as a standard air filter and doesn't appear to be providing more airflow. The real limitation is the airbox opening and muffler, so it's redundant.

Much better than the foam the bike came with. I washed the old one in soapy water and the glue came loose. The wheel runs more smoothly than with foam that has been washed several times.

I bought two of these filters for my KLR 650. They're fairly easy to attach. I can't tell if they make a difference to the stock air filter which is a very large sponge on a plastic frame. This price is a very reliable quality air filter.

Easy installation. The included edge sealing lube was good. The increased airflow made my engine run smoother. The durability of the filter means that with proper maintenance I will never have to buy an air filter for this bike again.

K&N have been around for a long time, they filter the air very well. However, if you can get this guy in the airbox, you'll say some bad things. K&N takes on the burden since it is easier to install a factory air cleaner than this one. How painful. You will pray you don't have to clean this very often. You can't see what you're doing, it all depends on how that airbag sits in the frame.
