**EDIT** AFTER 5 MINUTES YOU WEAR BROKEN! ** FIRST CHECK ** Went fine. The chain that goes under the boot will need the links removed to get the right size. This is easy to do with pliers. We also painted the leather straps black to match the boots. I've included a picture of the liquid polish we used. Several coats with intermediate drying were required to achieve the final appearance. Try using a hair dryer to speed up the process for restless children. Apart from the small changes I am very happy with them and my son loves them.
