Not mercury - if it crashed - you can eliminate the consequences without panic and buy another one. With its cons. 1. The speed of work as a conventional thermometer. no magic here 2. The price is significantly higher than that of mercury. 3. Shakes off worse than mercury. You need to shake harder, which is not the most pleasant thing to do with a high temperature and aching muscles. 4. Our copy shows the temperature always at 0.3 degrees. below the old, mercury. I don't even know who to trust anymore.
