They are thinner than the original tapes which lasted almost 20 years. They may not last as long, but they work. You can use the tip of a plastic baby brush to tighten the straps as there isn't much room for your hands. Be sure to watch a few YouTube videos on replacing these straps before you begin, as some videos are better suited to specific steps than others. Replacing these belts takes a lot of time, but when you're done, the car will be like new. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are so thin I don't know how long they will last.
