If you are looking for a railing bracket and your railing is that color and you don't want to paint it that's great that's why I bought it. It doesn't look huge and it's not very obvious considering my railing is white. HOWEVER, I was expecting a railing kit and received ONE railing per box. At 32 dlr I was expecting it to be a pair so it was disappointing considering the gate is 45. It's also very confusing and a bit difficult to put together, even between two people we were so confused. When we finally assembled and installed it works well and doesn't look horrible on my stairs, it's sturdy and my gate assembly seems VERY secure to support my little one. After spending $90 I'm at least glad it's discreet on my stairs so it's not a total waste. Knowing what I know now, and I was in no rush to install the gate, I would trade it in for a cheaper but equally functional railing kit and paint it the same color as the railing. If it breaks or I need to replace it I won't buy it again.
