Great little mini PC with a nuisance!

I've always wanted to play on a mini PC. They are so versatile I didn't know what I would use them for. Some people make little PC emulators for their TVs, others turn them into media centers, and still others make mini-servers out of them; The possibilities really are endless. I had to check out and test the Beelink GK35 Mini PC. The Beelink GK35 Mini PC comes in a retail box with a PC, a mini manual (4 pages in each language), a power cord, an HDMI cable (nice touch!) and a few screws to add a 2.5-inch -SATA drive supplied. Everything nicely divided and packed. It is equipped with an Intel Celeron J3455 processor, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 128GB SSD, 4 USB3 ports, a headphone jack, 2 HDMI ports and a GB Ethernet port. It has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth inside. The Beelink GK35 Mini PC comes with Windows 10 Pro installed on a 128GB SATA SSD. Internet without problems, it's faster than older Intel Atom based systems and 8GB RAM allowed to open multiple applications and browser tabs without problems. Then I deleted it and started installing Ubuntu which had no problems, all the hardware to install and find. Opening the Beelink Mini PC GK35 is as easy as removing the g 4 screws in the feet at the bottom of the device. Opening the box reveals a SATA connector for most 2.5" SATA SSD drives. The memory is a single 8 GB SoDIMM, so it can be upgraded to a 16 GB SoDIMM. The M.2 SATA SSD in the device is not removable. While the drive is in the M.2 socket, the heatsink, drive and socket are glued together (picture attached) so removing the socket will detach it from the motherboard. The RAM has a label explaining the specs. Overall, the Beelink Mini PC GK35 is a great little mini PC with lots of apps, but I'm a little disappointed that the M.2 drive isn't user-replaceable . It's good that SATA SSDs can help expand the device, but that means you'll have to deal with two drives, although it's still a great option for those looking for a mini PC.
