Make sure your stem is attached to the handlebar with 4 bolts so it can be fitted correctly. One of my bikes is older and only uses 2. I love that you can adjust the width of the mounting bolts. Also, other reviews have said you can't tighten the screws properly, which I didn't find to be true. If you find your rods slipping you can use charcoal paste which requires less torque if needed. Overall I'm happy with the value for money and plan to order more for other bikes.
