Silence for 1 day. Problem solved in 1 week. For over 3 years I have had 2 very stubborn and annoying barkers. On the first day with the collars, we reduced the barking to 2-3 barks per dog. By the end of the first week we can get one bark a day. My mother's dog is very strong and quite hardy. I began removing the collar with no jarring and very little vibration. After a single notification, my mother's dog ran up to us and was shaking. We had to take her to the backyard so she could urinate. A week later she relaxed but hasn't barked since day one in the collar. My shy dog didn't go through the "trama" of shaking. It still emits a low growl or a low bark from itself when an unexpected guest comes to us. I love that I can adjust the sensitivity of both collars because I don't mind my dog barking occasionally and if the collar comes off my mom's dog will hear it and may start shaking again. Now I only have sounds for both dogs and they only barked once or twice when I took the collars off at night. The only downside is that the instruction manual that came with the collars could have had more detailed instructions, but this seller has some helpful setup and fitting information in the product description. I wish I had made this purchase a few years ago.
