Nice, very sharp knife. I love the look of the damask knife. This creates a unique design on the blade. With 67 layers of forged steel, it is strong and durable enough for your kitchen needs. It comes in a classic black box with a red lining, perfect as a gift. The shiny silver color with blue and wooden handle makes a strong and stunning impression. I hope the resin/wood handle will stand the test of time. That's how it should be, but I've never had such a mixed grip. The cutting performance is excellent. He cut potatoes like butter and fresh pineapple with ease. Of course he passes the paper test by cutting a piece of paper. I can't find any faults with this knife. It's going to be one of my favorites and I'll be happy to show it off to the dinner guests.
