Review on πŸšͺ Safety 1st Extra Wide Doorways Fabric Baby and Pet Gate: Secure Your Loved Ones with Portability by Brent Doolan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not a good barrier. Ok, with some considerations.

Essential. . .Good. The poles are heavy/strong. It's not that hard to assemble (I don't get it, some people complain that it's hard!). If the opening isn't that wide, the mesh will sag. I don't think it will deter a child or dog (at least effectively), but it's a major barrier. If you are present and supervising the child/animal this should not be a problem. However, do not leave a child/animal unattended behind these "gates" as they may break (unless the tension on the horizontal bars is VERY strong). Tension on the horizontal bars holding the gate in place can be made strong, but it must be against a strong/solid object/door frame (e.g. a fragile wooden wall unit or other object will not impaired). structure that deforms under load). This is a gate that can be easily removed and replaced if you intend to pass through it frequently. The reason is that the tension of the bar is quite strong. But if you keep the top bar tension low (making the target even easier to compromise) the top of the gate can be lowered and is fairly easy to take off, step over the bottom horizontal bar, go through and replace.
