Easy to assemble, durable, easy to remove

Wrap plastic wrap around the rubber feet of the long pile when tucking them into the fabric during assembly or they won't come through! Assembly is easy too (just slide the poles into the fabric like you would in a tent. Add extra fabric in the middle of the poles for shorter doors so it doesn't hit the ends of the poles. It's pretty obvious.Just move the sticks a bit diagonally to clear them from the wall or rotate the stack to shrink it.Sturdy enough to hold my 17lb dog claws and all.

Pros
  • Includes 1 year limited warranty, elements available in gray or natural.
Cons
  • Problem

Simple easy assembly!

My opening is 48 inches wide. I used Saran Wrap over the ends to slide through a beautiful light gray mesh fabric. I followed the directions carefully, aligning the narrow ends on the left side and adjusting the pressure to fit. It's not a rocket operation like my husband used to say. I am 75 years old, widow, I live alone. I also installed the Ring Doorbell last week. The only difficulty was getting off the floor once the job was done LOL! My 15 lb cat is now contained and stays off the couch…

Cannot assemble

First, I couldn't fit it to the standard door frame size that is strange, but ultimately it's my fault for not reading more carefully. But seriously? Why not make it fit a standard size door frame? Second, I tried for 10 minutes but couldn't get the cloth to slide over the bars. The inner fabric is not smooth enough to push the stick through. I've given up and will be returning it, but buyers beware, it's a piece of crap. Too wide for a normal sized door and difficult to assemble. Yesterday I…

cage your child or you?

The cheapest gate that doesn't require drilling holes and stretches over a large area (60"). Easy to install. Comes with a carry bag. though I can't imagine It goes fast (up/down) Best thing is the colour, a lovely taupe Calms the nerves when your little one screams and clutches the top rail tighter than a frenzied Walmart shopper who's black friday holds on to the latest 60" Vizio at 5 a.m. This strong gate won't fall even 3 feet if properly installed. Although I can't say the same about your…

Really fits in wide doors!

This is the only mobile lift I could find that was wide enough for my 57 inch door. there are visitors (a few kids are easier to spot if you can keep them all where you can see them!). My first impression was that this goal looked very boring. I'm not a fan of boring tan (would prefer grey). The second thing I thought was that they are heavy (much heavier than the northern states portable gates which I also have). But they fit! They even match my baseboards. Please note that these are…

  • Under Pressure

Very Useful Gates - Gates and Gate Extensions

My cat has decided to meet me at the door when I get home come and try to explore the lobby in my house. Instead of struggling to keep the cat inside and also trying to get my groceries in, I chose this gate. Doesn't matter! Unlike other pressure gates I've used in the past, this gate uses a bolt system to attach to walls. Twist the rod in one direction - it expands, in the opposite direction - it shortens. Once you've set your starting size, it only takes a few turns on each bar for it to lock

Pros
  • Install this sturdy, extra wide Safety 1st baby gate in doorways and openings 38" to 60" wide
Cons
  • Modern

Not a good barrier. Ok, with some considerations.

Essential. . .Good. The poles are heavy/strong. It's not that hard to assemble (I don't get it, some people complain that it's hard!). If the opening isn't that wide, the mesh will sag. I don't think it will deter a child or dog (at least effectively), but it's a major barrier. If you are present and supervising the child/animal this should not be a problem. However, do not leave a child/animal unattended behind these "gates" as they may break (unless the tension on the horizontal bars is VERY…

Pros
  • This stain-resistant, machine-washable fabric enhances any interior. Includes drawstring pouch for easy storage or travel
Cons
  • Durability

Not suitable for small pets - gaps too large

I bought this screen to fit in a window so the cat wouldn't push out the window screen like a week ago. It was actually very difficult to put together as I couldn't get one end to fully snap one end onto the stem and get it past the lugs that would hold it securely together, high enough for a small cat to crawl right under. So if you're trying to block out a child or larger animal like a dog, that's no problem, but a cat, no. I figured it wouldn't matter much and I could just turn the gate…
