Not suitable for small pets - gaps too large

I bought this screen to fit in a window so the cat wouldn't push out the window screen like a week ago. It was actually very difficult to put together as I couldn't get one end to fully snap one end onto the stem and get it past the lugs that would hold it securely together, high enough for a small cat to crawl right under. So if you're trying to block out a child or larger animal like a dog, that's no problem, but a cat, no. I figured it wouldn't matter much and I could just turn the gate upside down to make it smoother, but it was also unclear when I looked at the photo on my phone that what I thought was the white corners indeed there was a gap large enough for a small cat to fit through. So for my purposes it will definitely not fit. I tried blowing it apart and I found that the side that fully engaged the handlebar tabs was almost impossible to depress the tab to analyze it. Luckily I had a pair of pliers that allowed me to apply enough pressure to the tongue and disassemble it. The next problem was getting it back in the box. First of all, it sits very tightly in the box and it's almost impossible to put it back in. It actually sticks out at the top and I have to pray that the packing tape I used will keep it closed during shipping. I still haven't put the case back in the box and now have to open the bottom and hope I can squeeze it like that. So be warned if you decide to return it. It didn't come in an outer Revain box due to its length so it should definitely be sent back in the box as you probably don't have a box big enough to fit it (about 37 inches long).
