My 4 cylinder supercharged Rotrex engine throws out a lot of CFM and exhaust decibels with a 3 inch straight pipe. A Flowmaster dBX was installed to reduce noise. The result was a significant reduction in noise, but unfortunately also an unacceptable amount of horsepower and torque. The Flowmaster Pro series was installed. The noticeable increase in flow, power and torque far outweighs the slight increase in decibels over dBX. confirms other reviews that the black paint scratches easily, but this is a muffler that will be installed under your car and you will probably never see it again.
