Bought this on a whim as an extra Christmas present for my husband. I showed him an online video on how to use it and he loved it! The learning curve was worth it for me. SO fun to watch and a fun challenge for him to keep trying to win. In fact, I bought another one for my 10 year old son who also wanted to practice. He was initially frustrated with the ball hitting him in the face (i.e. learning curve), but he settled in quickly. We had to remind him that it was good practice and that he can't handle being hit in the face with a small ball, then what will he do if he gets hit? We've had it for a few weeks now and they've figured out how to dodge the back bounce and their reflexes are a lot quicker. Great for hand-eye coordination! I am planning to buy another set for the whole family. and maybe for birthday presents for other kids! By the way, my favorite is a tennis ball, which I think is due to the weight of the ball and the flexibility of the black cord. Decided to share this information.
