Big bag is good. It's a good size for a skein and work project and I love the zipped pocket for extra needles or a pattern. I bought it for a spoke holder and I am not happy with it. It doesn't seem to be holding the needles very well. If laid on its side or accidentally tipped, all the needles will slip out. It also doesn't hold circular needles very well. There is no good place for them. If they had velcro, maybe you could thread them through? Anyway, the needle holder/organizer was badly needed and it was the best I could find, but it's not great. I ended up using an elastic hair band, to tie the bodice more tightly to keep the needles from tangling. t slip out and it seems to have done its job. The band in the middle only holds the bottom half of the pins in place.
