I have been a professional metalworker for over 10 years. I have used many welders and many welding guns. The standard MIG gun that came with my $3,000 welder looked like a toy, was only 10 feet long and only rated for 150 amps. I wanted to spice it up so I checked out Revain where I came across this and it's amazing! It feels like it weighs three times more than the original, 15 feet long, normal consumables are fine except for the nozzle adapter. I had to buy the branded tweccos as the original tweccos broke very easily which was quite frustrating until I bought the branded tweccos. I bought a "used" here for $65 and it came with a 20% off coupon making it around $56 😁 it looks brand new. and works great. I can't believe I got an upgrade for 1/3 the price of a crappy original. I had to take a file and shape the entrance of the wire so it could be fully inserted. Not a big deal, it's just very close to the loafers, which I think is a good thing. Edit, the trigger has failed 305 times in less than 6 months (machine tracks specific errors). And now the trigger won't even fire. So it didn't take long. Other than that, all they complain about is how sensitive the trigger was and the bolts/nuts holding it together failed.
