These little solo operation lights with fireflies that might be fireflies might be "friendly bees". Anyway, I just wanted to attach them to the underside of my parasol to get some light, but not enough to attract REAL bugs that are attracted to bright light, and then get you to find those itchy welts later ! By running a small wire through the windshield at the top of the umbrella and attaching a simple piece of self-adhesive Velcro to the top of the umbrella handle and another to the back of the solar panel, it gets plenty of daylight. but the night comes, these stupid things have a mind of their own! It's nonsense if they're going to work on a certain night. Then you'll never be sure if they last a few hours after dark or all night. I haven't found that setting different modes affects durability. So maybe not everything I wanted but they are cute.
