Far from accurate
If you're looking for something that is even remotely accurate then don't waste your money. Right out of the box, readings are off by 3/4 inch. And every time I check it, I get a different reading, so even the discrepancy isn't consistent. I think if you're just trying to get approximate square footage for a quote or bill of materials this will work. But I'm definitely not going to deal with it.
