I bought one of these in October 2017, about nine months ago. It was the perfect cheap fake. Was an exact copy of the original Tecumseh carburetor, right down to the color of every detail. The mower worked on the first try and worked fine every time I used it until last week. After using it last weekend, I filled up a nearly empty gas tank and put it away. Unusually for me, I was getting up in the middle of the night, going downstairs to get something to eat, when I caught a vague smell in the kitchen, similar to solvents. I went to the basement, there was no smell, then I went to the garage (which is under the kitchen) and almost died from the smell of gasoline. Afraid of causing a spark when the switch was turned on, I took a flashlight and searched the garage. I found a puddle of gasoline about two meters in diameter under my lawnmower. Almost a liter tank was completely empty. I got that idiot outside and aired the garage as soon as possible. There could have been a devastating fire. Well, the Chinese imitators made the perfect carburetor in every respect. But it's a piece of shit. I would say it's not worth the risk unless you're storing your mower outside, away from your house or other structures.
