I installed this on my old mower and it started on the first pull. It was leaking from the air filter but I did NOT install the o-ring that was on the old carb, it was fine after the o-ring was installed so please check you have the gasket from the old carb, to attach these. The gasket that is on the side of the air filter, in my case it was an o-ring that was placed in the carburetor where the air filter is located. It was a great price and I am happy with my purchase
