cheaper than dealer

It also took me 20 minutes to replace the mirror on my wife's car. Very simple and intuitive. 3 nuts and electric plug. Remove the cover in the car with a flathead screwdriver. Remove the nuts, remove the mirror, don't worry about the thin sticky pad that was on the car, just remove it. The new mirror already has nice foam padding in the top. Attach, maybe a bit tricky. Put the nuts on, being careful not to drop them into the door frame. tighten nuts. Be careful not to overtighten. Once they begin to fit tightly, turn every 1/2 turn. When they no longer feel free from the aggravation of the previous ones, stop. Make sure they are all tight and put the lid on. Remember that the mirror is black. There is a little paint on the original car. Fortunately, our car is dark in color and no one will notice that one side is black and the other is dark blue. It could probably be varnished, but it's a glossy finish and I figured a bad varnish would be more noticeable than a wrong color.

Pros
  • mirrors and parts
Cons
