Know the Peanuts Pig Pen character? Here in Phoenix, our gorgeous smooth-coated retriever is constantly blowing his fur off, leaving a cloud of fur everywhere, much like a pigsty. We were really hoping that this attachment would help on our *wonderful* V18 vacuum. Unfortunately, the hair gets tangled in the teeth of the brush and we have to hand pull the hair out and stuff it into the hole while the V18 does its work. This may work for other dogs with different coats, but it's actually easier for us and our dog to take him outside, brush him the old-fashioned way, and then clean up any remaining mess with the attachments that come with the V-18 to be delivered by yourself.
