I love that it's recycled paper (let's save some trees folks!). The paper itself is very soft and smooth. It's very easy to blend on it, which is very handy for those who are painting something with a lot of shadows. The paper is quite thin, which can be a disadvantage because if you press too hard, you'll get dents through many layers. The size is great for drawing reasonable size pictures, not too big and not too small. the whole stack of paper, which is great because you don't have a bunch of pages falling out every time you open it. However, as soon as you turn the page, it starts to come loose. This is a top book for sketching. Overall I would recommend it because it's a great price and the paper is very high quality.
