I like how the cable is offered in 5 feet increments, i.e. 25 feet, 30 feet, 35 feet, etc. I didn't notice the, what looks to be, copper connections when I ordered the cable. I was pleasantly surprised. I run the cable from the modem, under a large trow rug, and to my laptop. I needed a flat cable. This works perfectly and I can't tell a cable is under the rug even though I put one there. The cable gives not only great connections, but also great LAN Internet speed. I love it and would recommend to anyone to purchase.
