I received it earlier in about 8 days instead of the expected 3-4 weeks. Many Thanks. Good product. When I used Crystal Disk Mark for testing, it showed read and write speeds of 230 to 240 MB/s. That's 6-7 times faster than my 12TB WD Easystore external hard drive. When I tested the transfer speed of a 985MB video file, almost 1GB, with the Fideco Dual Dock, it showed transfer rates from 80 to 117MB/s. it's brilliant Despite being a CMR hard drive, MTBA is rated for 2,500,000 hours. That's 285 years. Failures may come a little sooner or a little later, but I don't intend to live that long. Now I'm planning to see if I can use it for rendering videos. Any idea if I could switch it from a SATA drive to a SAS drive?
