Review on πŸ”Œ Husky 82084 Super Brute Electric Jack - 4000 lbs. Maximum Load Capacity by Robert Toomey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So far so good - jack and stabilizers

My installation was simple: remove old jack, switch off electrical, install new jack, connect cables and test. The jack I received included star washers, circuit breakers and new mounting bolts (unlike many I've seen here). I had to buy butt shrink connectors and 3/8" stainless steel washers. I lifted the tongue and installed both A-frame arms on the jack stands. I then removed the old bushing and removed the stanchion. The hardest part of my installation was removing the old bolts, which were corroded after 18 months of trailer ownership. However, once disconnected the power cord was cut (after disconnecting the 12V on the camper) and the old plug removed. Installing the new connector was easy; line up the holes, slide in washers over the screw (flat top, star in contact with the socket), tighten the screws (torque 15-20 ft/lb) and connect the power, it worked for me the first time, I will have gloss black rustoleum on the bracket as a rust preventative This is a simple replacement that can be performed by anyone with a socket wrench and crimping tools can use.
