Installed this electric jack on a boat trailer without the standard A frame. Welded 2 A-frame reinforcement plates on the side, in front of the trailer, so that a jack can be mounted. A large leg rest has been added to the underside of the jack for better stability. Makes it easier to lift a trailer when connected to a tractor to raise and secure the stabilizers to distribute the weight. My installation was simple: remove old jack, switch off electrical, install new jack, connect cables and test.
