It doesn't come with the standard plug

I haven't been able to check it out yet because I had to order a standard plug to plug into my van. There is no cigarette lighter in the mobile home! Why is only a cigarette lighter plug included? Why not SELECT?! I bought it specifically for my RV, but now I'm waiting for a power cord to plug into an outlet, which I had to order (and pay for) separately. And I NEVER use a cigarette lighter plug! There should be a choice of forks, not just a standard fork which I will never use!
