I was looking through listings of heat lamps and after reading reviews and doing a long search for specs I settled on this pair. I wish I hadn't. . . Just a few weeks after commissioning, the first bulb burned out (warmth for young chicks). At first I thought the problem was in the outlet, but after checking I found out that the lightbulb just burned out completely. So I installed a second bulb. It burned out a few hours after turning it on. AVOID these heat lamps, they will NOT last long and your animals will not get hot!
