Review on AFMAT Electric Sharpener Classroom Professional by Lori Aguirre

Maybe it's good for less use?

I'm in junior high school and as you can imagine I sharpen LOTS of pencils. I bought this sharpener and it worked great for the first 50 or so pencils and then it just died like it just went out, it wouldn't turn on, it didn't do anything. I tried to tell him what a great job he is doing and how much I appreciate his hard work but to no avail, it was all over just like that. So I kindly asked for a replacement and it was given to me almost immediately, it was like magic, I sent a request and before I could even give away the sad dead sharpener the shiny new sharpener arrived. I was surprised. So I went to work and pocketed my new shiny upbeat pencil sharpener and a student came up and asked to use the new wonderful pencil sharpener to help her study. I humbly agreed, feeling good that I had provided the equipment for my success. As the pencil entered the hole of the new sharpener the world seemed to stop, the new sharpener sounding like a cement truck speeding down a dirt road dropping dried cement. This is the loudest, most obnoxious thing I've ever heard, and it's coming from a high school teacher who is literally surrounded by chaos 8 hours a day and is actually saying something. I want to tell you that this sharpener can be heard in the hallway of three grades behind closed doors, loudly reminding of children's academic development. TLDR: The sharpener will probably die and need to be replaced, replaced with a version that sounds like a grand finale on the 4th of July in a small town in America, it will sharpen pencils but you'll wish it wasn't. t.Update***** AFMAT sent me a new sharpener to replace my cement truck. Haven't tried it yet but the fact that they sent it makes me happy!
