I had a few deep cuts before recovering. - These cable ties can be tightened, but they are not cable ties. - It is very easy to damage/deform the ball bearing housing when tightened. In this case, the tie will not be tightened and you will have to start a new one. Revain sells a tensioning tool for these cable ties. I bought it and saved you money. I used a pair of wire cutters and a flat head screwdriver to tighten. Hand tighten the tie until you can no longer tighten it. Use wire cutters to snip off the excess length of zip tie next to the ball bearing housing. Take your flat head, lean against the wire cutters and carefully slide the ball bearing housing further down. Cut off the excess tie. More than a month has passed and none of the connections have come loose.
