Excellent Article - Pen With Gloves

Amazing Article. Gets the job done and what regular cable ties can't. I use it on all my exhausts to keep the heat film safe. BUT - it is recommended to wear gloves when working. They are sharp, you may not feel it, but I cut my fingers badly and wore bandages for several days. You will find that you are covered in blood. Just wear gloves when working. They are sharper than you think.

Great street ties!

This is exactly what I needed. Nylon ties tend to rot from UV light and then crack and fall apart after a few years outdoors. I really don't see that happening to them when they're made of high quality stainless steel. If they are made of poor quality stainless steel, I believe that over time the product will start to rust. If they do, they'll still outlive the nylons by a couple of years. They are really easy to work with.

These things are great, I've found all sorts of uses.

These things are great, I've found many uses for them. The nice thing is that they aren't razor sharp until you cut them off. The hood where I installed the thermal film to protect things from my head pieces if I forget they are there they will cut my arms. The workaround is to round the edges with a small thin file after trimming off the excess.

A little difficult to use, but good.

I used it to attach the exhaust system shell. It's quite difficult to use without this tool, which is sold separately, but I figured I could probably just do it by hand. Well it was pretty tough. I bought some cookie cutters from Homedepot but it was still a bit tricky to cut because I could only cut from the side. I suppose you need stronger knives for clean cuts. It's not the zip ties, it's just that they're a little tricky to use without the right gear. I only needed a few, I have about 90…

Does exactly what it's supposed to do

I've had no problems with it. After reading the reviews I realized that they don't look like regular plastic zip ties and they don't have little grooves in the band. Instead of wrapping or twisting the ends, I folded the top back and smoothed the edges to make sure I wouldn't cut myself if I had to put my hand inside. Rolling down, as in the top view, is also good. As long as you understand that you still need wire cutters and/or needle nose pliers with wire cutters, you're fine. The frame fits

Mandatory for Gear Heads

These cable ties are great for securing the heat shield to the starter (engine). To remove the dirt from the nooks and crannies. The only problem I had was cutting, they are a lot thicker than I thought and not easy to cut with pliers or wire cutters. I'd recommend metal snips, or just firmly squeeze the wire cutters (but don't say I didn't warn you). I'm not scolding the product for this because in my opinion it was more of a plus given the thickness of the metal. Don't worry about the steel…

Good product . just misunderstood.

I can't believe all the people who are writing bad reviews about this product because they don't understand the product. I have attached some photos to help with my explanation. First, this item is designed to be used with this. Eclipse 902-321 stainless steel cable ties or equivalent. I personally didn't want to spend as much or more, so I found an alternative online. I found a pair of long needlenose pliers that worked to attach my heat film to my exhaust. Trim the excess to about 1 inch…

They worked great, but to save your fingers and wits, get a submachine gun that can handle it. Get DURATOOL D03033 or one of the countless rebrands of the same pistol. The tool is expensive, but if you want to use them and have the ability to tighten them enough to hold them, you need a tool. For outdoor use with solar wiring or anything that needs to survive in the sun, this is the only way. I used mine to attach bird spikes to a baby swing bar and to attach owl repellents to my trees. They…

Beware of sharp edges.

Works well for my application. A few things to note: - The edges are razor sharp. Wear suitable hand protection. I had a few deep cuts before recovering. - These cable ties can be tightened, but they are not cable ties. - It is very easy to damage/deform the ball bearing housing when tightened. In this case, the tie will not be tightened and you will have to start a new one. Revain sells a tensioning tool for these cable ties. I bought it and saved you money. I used a pair of wire cutters and a
