Optex has a nice name in the PIR
Used this as a discrete trigger for my IP camera. Optex has a good reputation in PIR and I was not disappointed. This greatly reduced the number of false alarms when recording movement in the backyard. I had to cut the foliage about 5 feet from the sensor, but after that I had almost no false positives. On a medium sensitivity walk test, it fires at 30 feet to the sides and at least 35 feet forward, day and night. Has been working without problems for several months now. Will be updated if this changes.
