What a cool and useful product. I have a durable 3 pin cable for my laptop. I just got a new MacBook Pro laptop; and want to use them together for screens and for the endless possibilities of all Apple laptops. This adapter cable is also heavy duty and has a short cord that plugs into a longer cord (which plugs into a wall outlet). The laptop sits on a mobile table (similar to hospital dining tables) and the extra-long main cable runs under the large wardrobe and TV stand, allowing me to move this table and laptop closer to my favorite chair! Take both and don't risk power or a large surge band as I only need two connectors for two triple plugs. I've never needed this special setup. So I usually use a heavy duty cord with a single outlet. or usually well done and tuned to my liking. So I was surprised that I had never used this type of adapter before. I really recommend this if you don't need to supply 220 volts but also want to always have enough power to charge your essential devices like a laptop or two. You don't need any additional socket ports.
