These carabiner clips were purchased for use during camping trips and for securing equipment on hikes. While the heavy duty stainless steel construction feels durable and trustworthy, there were a few issues that brought the overall rating down. On the positive side, the M12 1/2 inch size is perfect for attaching to gear and the large spring snap hooks were easy to use while wearing gloves. The four pack is also a good value for the price, and the clips held up well to repeated use and exposure to the elements. However, there were a few downsides to the product. The locks on the carabiners were not very secure and could accidentally unlock, which was concerning when using them to secure heavy equipment. The edges of the hooks were also a bit sharp, which made them uncomfortable to handle for extended periods of time. Overall, while the BNYZWOT carabiner clips are sturdy and functional, the issues with the locks and sharp edges prevent me from giving them a higher rating.
