Review on 🐠 Leverage the Power of Lee's Triple-Flow Corner Filter - Medium: Enhance Your Aquatic Ecosystem by Brittany Moore

This is a nice little all-purpose filter! 100% recommended.

Overall an excellent filter. Benefits: 1. Versatility - allows you to choose the medium. I filled mine with ceramic rings, bio sponge, filter thread and a coarse filter pad (cut in half to reduce thickness). Different ways to power this pump. You can use a standard air pump (which is what I chose) or you can power it with a powerhead. When you hook it up to a powerhead, I think it's the best internal filter on the market for the price of a 20-30 gallon tank.3. Easy handling. Much easier than opening a canister filter if you ever need to add activated carbon for post treatment cleaning. An excellent second form of filtration in large tanks fitted with canister filters. I bought this as my second form of filtering for three reasons. Firstly, just in case I ever need to blow up the tank with antibiotics killing your good bacteria. I can fit a box filter in my spare tank to keep the good bacteria in there. Second, in the event of a prolonged power outage. You can operate this filter with a battery-powered air pump. The third reason is that I didn't get enough biofiltration from my Eheim Classic 250 in a 65g tank. Adding this type should bring my ammonia down to 0.5. Easy to assemble. Don't forget to also get double ended suction cups to attach this thing to the side of the aquarium. I like it better on the surface than on the bottom. Cons: 1. A little flimsy plastic. The air duct brackets are locked, but this does not affect the work.2. A little sore eyes in an aquarium with plants. I grew Myrion, Kabomba, and Hornwort around it to hide it a bit.

  • Decent performance
Cons
