It was easy enough to install and everything fitted perfectly. I've definitely noticed better throttle response and less downshifting on long climbs when towing a trailer. I haven't noticed a significant increase in performance, but I was planning to replace the mass air flow sensor as I think it will fail and cause loss of performance. I should have read the product description of this kit a bit more carefully, but the photos show a MAF sensor already installed, so I was mistaken in assuming a new one would come with the kit. Well, we'll get the MAF sensor and see if the cold air intake and new MAF sensor will give the truck a much-needed performance boost. The jury is still out on our replacement of the MAF sensor.
