Works for connecting eGPU to my mac
It works perfectly for connecting a Mac mini and a Sonnet Breakaway Box (550 W) with a RX 580 graphics card. Just works like any passive, 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 3 cables.However there might be differences between passive and active cables for connecting laptops to displays. If your monitor arrives with an active Thunderbolt 3 cable (Mostly seen on 8K/5K and 4K monitors with USB-C support), you would be fine. Otherwise you might run into some compatibility issues.
- They work. They are sturdy. Hopefully they will last forever....
- May not be compatible with older devices
