This is the second time I've installed one of these kits. The first time was on Saturn 2002 and everything went smoothly. But a lot has changed since 2002. This time it's a 2014 Ford Focus Titanium Hatchback. This car's wiring does not conform to the fixed instructions that worked in 2002. Wires to each bulb in the right and left taillight assemblies are routed individually in a bundle of approximately 50 wires along the right and left sides of the vehicle. that are multicolored. I had to remove the taillights to determine the colors of the wires used on each bulb - they were all different. I also had to run some cables around the car to get the signals to where they were needed. My only limitation is to tie the car's two brake and tail light wires together. In these days of LED lights, lots of sensors, computer control and CAN bus alarms, this can cause strange behavior or problem codes in the ODB2 system, but so far this has not been the case. I would be more comfortable if there were two (2) more diode blocks for brake lights and taillights.
