I bought this mount to use the new Montana on my dual sport. Like the Zumo I have on another bike, the Montana is essential for travel with topographic maps installed. The mount is strong and widely adjustable, allowing it to be used in a variety of mounting positions and pole sizes. I use the bike's gears to find a good spot to toggle power and tuck away other cables in case I want to use other features in the future (like plugging in a headset instead of Bluetooth). The materials of construction of this mount appear to be the same as my old mount, so I expect it to withstand weather, dust and vibration.
