Great mount for GPS system accessories

Nothing to say other than it's well built. I dropped my device off the bike on the first day due to not using the locking screw. Although the screw is not designed to be a theft deterrent, it is complex enough to deter curious thieves. Contacts are easy to clean. I've tried plugging in headphones and also tried using a bluetooth adapter. It's strong enough for an adventure bike.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Incredible price

I was looking through 3 windshield suction cup mounts for my Garmin Montana 610 to use in my ranger and broke all 3. My neighbor had this mount for his Enduro and he told me he liked it so I ordered one. I've done 4 trips now and this mount is solid as a rock. I hooked it up to the ignition, so it turns on immediately after turning the key. I will never break a sweat thinking about recharging my GPS. When you turn off the ignition, 610 prompts you to turn off the power or stay on. Very nicely…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Great mount for ADV and dual sport riding!

I've been using a DeLorme GPS for 6 years, both PN-40 and PN-60w with SPOT and while I prefer their functionality and software over Garmin I'm tired of waiting for DeLorme to improve the form factor to something more useful for my needs. I bought a Garmin Montana 600T from a large hunting and outdoor store on a trip from Washington DC to Southern California. Since I primarily use these units for dual-sport and adventure riding, I needed a mount to complement a Garmin unit that could withstand…

I like the idea of a torx latch

I bought this mount with a small latch system for my Garmin Montana snowmobile. I like the idea of a locking device with a security torx, although I didn't have to use that feature. The best part is that I don't need a cable from the GPS itself to the sled, I just have to take the GPS out and put it in my pocket. The only potential downside is that RAM doesn't seem to make a small square ball mount anymore using the AMPS hole configuration. I was still able to get it from Amazon through GPS…

A must have for Montanta and dual sport

I bought this mount to use the new Montana on my dual sport. Like the Zumo I have on another bike, the Montana is essential for travel with topographic maps installed. The mount is strong and widely adjustable, allowing it to be used in a variety of mounting positions and pole sizes. I use the bike's gears to find a good spot to toggle power and tuck away other cables in case I want to use other features in the future (like plugging in a headset instead of Bluetooth). The materials of…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Fading brightness

I only wish I had bought it sooner

This item along with a Garmin Montana GPS could be the best investment I have made in a long time. Be sure to connect the power cords to the auxiliary power switch (on most bikes, one is usually behind the headlight and the other is under the seat). When I turn the key on my bike (DR650) the device turns on and when I turn the key off the device prompts me to turn off the device or drain the battery. The mount is very stable, I connected it to the ram mount. My only regret is that I didn't pull
