Review on Yale Assure Lock SL - Keyless Touchscreen Door Lock in Black by Chad Cypert

The lock is fine. Pretty easy to install. Programming instructions are a recipe for failure. The only remaining step is to add user codes. No mention of waiting times. What do all those beeps mean? When I do a factory reset, it tells me to remove the batteries to disassemble the lock, reinsert the batteries while holding the reset button, and then reattach the battery cover. There is no mention of pulling the batteries back out to reassemble the lock, putting the batteries back in, THEN putting the battery cover back on. The "taken for granted" attitude doesn't make for good documentation or happy customers. The online video does not match the printed instructions. Email with some questions to "We are here to help!" address - no response. So the lock is good, but you need to be a decent craftsman to fill in the blanks in the instructions. You're on your own.
